Memory Screening
Wednesday, May 19, 8:30 - by appointment, Free
In November we participated in National Memory Screening Day, an Alzheimer's Foundation effort to promote early detection of Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, and to encourage appropriate intervention. Many people were screened and some were asked to come back in six moths. Memory screening makes sense for anyone concerned about memory loss, or who believe they are at risk due to family history. If you were asked to return in six months or if you missed the November screening, please call and schedule an appointment. It takes about 20 minutes. Nurses from N.C. Department of Human Services will administer the questionnaires. Call 203-594-3620 to make an appointment.
