Genealogy Publications

There are several publications devoted to genealogy available free on a weekly or monthly basis distributed through e-mail. In order to subscribe you send a message containing in the subject line the word 'subscribe.' Also, in the body of the message, type only the word 'subscribe' - nothing else.

Ancestry Daily News - Issued daily - about 2 pages - the one advantage is that Ancestry.com lists their new release databases which are generally free for 10 days. To subscribe to this newsletter, e-mail: http://www.ancestry.com and type your e-mail address in the box provided.

Roots Web Review - Issued weekly on or about Wednesday - edited by Julia M. Case and Myra Vanderpool Gormley - more directed to the workings of RootsWeb , what's new and how the organization functions.
