Italian with Lisetta Malagoli

Beginning Italian

10 Thursdays, April 10 - June 12, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., $70 [$90]

This introductory course began in September. Students will learn to speak, understand, write, and read simple Italian, using examples from everyday life. It will provide students with a basic foundation in the Italian language and grammar.

Advanced Beginning Italian

9 Mondays, April 14 - June 16, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., $81 [$99]

This course is for students who have a working knowledge of basic Italian. The objective of this class is to enable students to improve speaking, reading, and oral comprehension through the acquisition of more rigorous grammar and vocabulary.

Italian Conversation

10 Tuesdays, April 8 - June 10, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., $90 [$110]

This course is for those students who have a working knowledge of Italian. The continued objective is for students to improve speaking, reading, and oral comprehension. Prices are based on anticipated enrollment and are subject to change.

Introduction to Spanish

This introductory class is a continuation from September for those with no previous experience or exposure to the language. Emphasis will be on developing conversation skills. Text: Saludos.

11 Mondays, April 7 - June 23, 10:15 - 11:45 a.m., $99 [$121]

For students who have taken an introductory class or those with basic vocabulary skills and familiarity with present tense of verbs. Conversational skills will be strengthened by typical Spanish-speaking environments like shopping, dining out, and travel. Text - Recuerdos.

Conversational Spanish

12 Tuesdays & 12 Thursdays, April 1 - June 19, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., $200

For those with a more extensive knowledge of Spanish and the present, preterit and imperfect tenses.
