| History of the Samurai and Bushido |

| Bushido, meaning "The Way of the Warrior", is a Japanese word which is used to describe a
uniquely Japanese code of conduct and a way of the Samaurai life. It originates from the Samaurai moral code and stresses frugality, loyalty, martial arts
mastery, and honor unto death. Fred Chang will lead the discussion about these fascinating people who practiced bushido from the 10th to the 19th century. Fred will bring various authentic samaurai items for show and tell. |
